BlogRush: Cool Idea, but….
September 19th, 2007Ah, the BlogRush people finally gave you statistics. Let me guess, you’ve got something like 500 impressions, 1 click? BlogRush is a cool idea, though it hasn’t worked out so well. Heck, Daren Rowse, one of the top bloggers, had around 70,000 impressions and only a handful of clicks. I’m not going to bore you to death with yet another (there have been hundreds) post about “The Great BlogRush Scam.” Instead, I’ll offer you something better.
By now, you’ve probably heard of the NTugo Network. If you’re blog is accepted, a link to your blog and RSS feed will be added to the network page (which all network memebers are required to link to), excerpts of your blog’s recent posts will be featured on the network page, and headlines on the NTugo homepage. We’re even working on a Wordpress plugin that shows the Network headlines on your blog sidebar.
The ‘Network may not give you a “rush of traffic” (which BlogRush promised, and didn’t deliver), but it can benefit your blog in numerous ways.
