Review of World of Warcraft.

Fantasy Folder has a review of World of Warcraft up, complete with gameplay trailer and a few screenshots.

A couple weeks ago, not long after the new Wrath of the Lich King expansion pack was released, I decided to finally give World of Warcraft a try. I’d heard a lot about the game over the years, and though I’ve played a few MMORPGs, I never tried WoW. So I downloaded and installed the 10-day trial, which offers most of the full game, albeit for a limited time.

World of Warcraft is the most immersive online game I have ever played.

From what I’ve seen, it’s one of the better MMORPGs, being more immersive and less focused on mindless levelling. There are plenty of quests, more than most people could ever hope to do, and plenty of chances for PVP. I especially like the whole Alliance vs. Horde setup, where the two opposing forces can sneak into each others’ lands on raids, attacking NPCs and other characters.
