RuneScape

I’m sure you’ve heard of RuneScape by now. RuneScape users play it at libraries, they rant about it on forums, and they talk about it nonstop. Some people bash it nonstop instead. On forums it’s all too easy to find people arguing about whether RuneScape is A: a great game or B: total garbage. Having recently hit the “one million users mark,” it can’t be as bad as some people say it is.

I’ve been playing RuneScape for the last few years, though I haven’t been playing four hours a week like I used to. Currently I log in now and then, every couple weeks or so. (more…)

Sewer Run

Why would I pay $30 for a skateboarding game (supposing there are still ones avialble for the PC) when I could play Sewer Run or it’s sequel Sewer Run 2: Night Ops or free?

Sewer Run is a shockwave-based game where you skateboard through something somewhat resembling a big sewer pipe, dodging other pipes, going over jumps, and pulling off tricks while airborne. Meanwhile, there are other competing skaters you can bombard with power-ups.

It’s pretty good for a Miniclip game. I especially like the Battle mode where you have to take out all eight of the other skateboarders before the end of the track.

Seeing as I’m not a huge fan of skateboard games, I’m not about to go out and buy one. This one is both fun and free, so…

Tactics Arena Online, or Tactics Arena, is a multiplayer online flash game. In TAO, each piece has a certain amount of health, an attack type, and a recovery time. We’ll get back to that in a moment. Let’s start from the beginning. Here’s how to play Tactics Arena from the beginning. By the time you finish reading this guide, you’ll practically know everything about TAO. :) Be warned: Just because you can play chess, doesn’t mean you can beat everyone at TAO.
